Turner Brooks recently completed renovating the historic Detroit Fire Department Headquarters into a new boutique hotel. This historic renovation required special techniques to bring the space and materials up to current building codes and specification while still maintaining its historic relevance.

Materials for this project were specifically designed and fabricated for this project, with installation techniques being mandated by the manufacturer to capture the complete design concept. Turner Brooks generated computer models depicting the layout of each unit of material needed. These models were then distributed to the Fabricators and to the Foundation Design Team for review and approval. By working with the entire design team, Turner Brooks and out skilled installation crews were able to deliver this very challenging project on time and on budget.
